Rene is a Director of Development at Participant Capital and its integrated development company, Royal Palm Companies. Mr. Perez is a seasoned design and construction professional with over 33 years of experience. Leading and managing the design and construction of $1.1B of condominiums, academic centers, hospitals, office spaces, warehouses, and single family homes throughout South Florida Holding accreditations and certificates from ASHE Healthcare Construction, USGBC LEED, National Council of Architectural Registration Board, and has completed 30 hours of OSHA. As VP of Construction, Mr. Perez is responsible for supervising all project performances including planning, cost, scheduling, coordination, communications, quality, and safety. Mr. Perez is crucial in deciding subcontractor selections, serving as RPC’s advocate to ensure agendas are aligned, and profits are no more than fair. Before RPC, Mr. Perez held leadership positions in respected construction companies such as Square Edge Inc, The Related Group, Kaufman Lynn Construction, John Moriarty and Associates of Florida, Pavarini South East Construction Co and Suffolk Construction Company. Mr. Perez holds a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture from the University of Miami.
